Beautiful Perry County is heaven for covered bridge fans---this little gem of the Dutch Country Roads region boasts 15 of these quaint treasures from the past. There's a driving tour if you'd like to see them all, or you can strike out on your own and enjoy the scenery on a leisurely spin through the area. Visit the historic village of Rye, in the gorgeous Fishing Creek Valley, or check out Liverpool and its historic links to the Pennsylvania Canal. Marysville's stone arch bridge is another sight not to be missed. Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to do in Perry County; because the area is bordered by the Tuscarora and Blue Mountains, with the Juniata River in between, the area is perfect for hiking, mountain biking, camping, fishing, and just about anything else you can dream up!
