Romance and luxury at this 1815 country inn. Located on the historic Herr's Ridge, The Herr Tavern & Publick House was the site of the first Confederate Field Hospital on July 1, 1863. Each of the 16 guest rooms has a fireplace and most have 2 person Jacuzzis. Restaurant on premises features a French influenced menu that utilizes fresh local produce in season and changes weekly.
