Built in 1719, the Hans Herr House is the oldest building in Lancaster County and also the oldest site of Mennonite worship in the North America. The Hans Herr House & Museum offers three historic farm houses from 1719 to 1900. A large collection of agricultural implements as well as exhibits of daily life and faith are available to see. On the first weekend of August, October and December, the Museum hosts Special Events where volunteers demonstrate trades and skills of the colonial America.
